Tracy Silva
Tracy Silva has been in education for 28 years. Tracy was born in California but moved to Albuquerque at a young age. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Middle School Curriculum from NMSU and UNM respectively. She started her career as a middle school math teacher working for Gadsden Independent School District before moving back to Albuquerque and teaching in Rio Rancho Public Schools and Albuquerque Public Schools. Tracy was a lead teacher at one of the first charter schools in Albuquerque and she quickly became a charter school advocate and loves that New Mexico parents have a choice when it comes to their child's education. As a test coordinator for the past 20 years, Tracy has had the opportunity to work with many different charter schools, each with a unique mission and vision.
Dr. Nadine Torres
Nadine Torres has been an educator for over 25 years. Nadine is a native New Mexican and has worked in the Albuquerque Public Schools and Taos Municipal School Districts. She recently retired from Gilbert L. Sena Charter High School where she was the Executive Director for ten years. Nadine has also been a National Baldrige examiner and has worked with schools around the country with Continuous Improvement efforts. Nadine’s experience includes teaching, administration, training, and coaching. Nadine received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with ESL and Bilingual Endorsements from the University of New Mexico. In 2004, she completed the Administration Internship Program through UNM receiving a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from UNM in May of 2023. Her dissertation focused on The Lived Experiences of New Mexico Charter Leaders Through the COVID-19 Pandemic. Nadine is passionate about the work of charter schools and their support of students in New Mexico.
